Air Flights to Cuba | Our friends from Omemee, Ontario and together with my single traveling companion Lianne from Barrie; we had decided to go back to Cuba together again as we had in 2003. When we got to Brisas the weather was a bit cooler then usual, and since they repainted the pool and filed it with fresh water it wasn't warm yet. For a day, or two. But no rain, (or snow). Staff at the resort was very friendly, I had my coffee ready very quickly every morning as soon as I showed up at the coffee bar, room was cleaned properly every day, and food was just like any other Cuban resort. This year there was no disco there, like last time I was at Santa Lucia in 2000. Quatro Vientos, as it was called then, was hot spot. We had to go to the other resorts for that kind of entertainment...If you wonder about the evening shows at our resort; sometimes you have to understand the Cuban humor, but I liked it. We didn't take any side trips this time, just couple of times to Coco beach on rented scooters. Kind of took it easy, ate, drank and relaxed in the sun. | |
