Our family arrived in
Maui late on November 10th and headed
to our condominium (which we later nicknamed ''The George")
at the Grand Champions Wailea.
That first week the four of us had spend time on
the beach, even more time at the pool and taking many leisurely walks,
exploring our surroundings.
My husband arrived
the following Friday, joining us for the remaining two weeks of our family
vacation.
More leisurely time at the pool followed his arrival, along with activities
for each of us to enjoy: Golf for my husband; Scuba diving for me, a trip to Haleakala
for Grandma and my husband; lots of swimming, walks (and ice cream) for the
kids, a Helicopter Ride for Grandma; snorkeling for me, Whale Watching for the
entire family, daily early morning walks/runs for me and my husband, and several
dinners out at a variety of restaurants. Oh, and don't forget an almost daily
trip to Starbucks and lots of shopping!
We, were sad to see our vacation come to an end, but we came away with a big
batch of fun & wonderful memories of our time together on such a beautiful
island, along with plans to make this an annual event. |
